Is Mike Vick back?
Michael Vick in the Monday Night Football game accounted for 6 touchdowns against the Redskins. I think a good question to ask is if he's back to being the electric, can't miss quarterback he was before he was arrested. In my opinion, I think he's even better than before. Before, Vick's most dangerous attribute was his scrambling ability. But this year, he's focused more on scrambling from the pocket, but looking to pass first. He had 4 touchdown passes last night and nearly 300 yards passing.

Is the NFL becoming a pure-offensive league?
I'm sure by now everyone has heard that the NFL has restructured their rules on helmet-to-helmet hits, saying now that first time offenders can be suspended or if the hit is bad enough, the player could be ejected from the game. Many players, especially defensive, have spoken out against the rule saying that the reason that football is the most popular sport in America is because of how intense every single play is. Another argument players are making is that the NFL keeps changing rules to make it harder for the defense to succeed. Players say that the NFL is doing this because they believe fans want a higher scoring game opposed to a defensive struggle.
In my opinion, I believe that defensive players are right in saying that the NFL is making changes to rules to make football a higher scoring game. Rules such as the new helmet-to-helmet rule and how easy defensive pass interferences are called make it too easy for the offense to succeed. Even though I'm a die-hard Colts fan, I'll admit that the Colts have benifited from some calls that shouldn't have been called. The NFL needs to start changing their rules back to the way they were before the 2005 season.
